Only a day late … this week’s topic:
Discussion groups. Do you belong to any (besides Early Reviewers)? Approximately how many? Are there any in particular that you participate in more avidly? How often do you check?
I belong to a lot of groups on LT – the count is 26. I participate most actively and almost exclusively in the Green Dragon, my favorite place on LT, but I also like the 50 book challenge group and What are You Reading Now? and I tend to read and lurk in Happy Heathens the most. I check multiple times a day – I am an LT addict! I am mostly a lurker though, being somewhat shy, but I do always feel more comfortable posting there than almost anywhere else on the internet. The atmosphere is wonderful and who could ask for more than a community that loves books?

But oddly enough I’ve never actually checked out the Green Dragon. I know it’s up there as one of the most popular groups so I don’t know why I haven’t stopped by!

It’s hard not to belong to lots of groups, so many of them are so interesting!
I like The Green Dragon, it’s one of those groups that you can join in, go missing for a while, then get right back in as if you’ve never gone.
You’re right about the community that loves books though, can’t think of anything quite as good as that.
